Greg Rhodea

Lead Pastor

Greg is originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and he is happy to have returned to the northern climate after living in exile for a time in Texas. Greg is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute, and has a ThM and PhD in New Testament from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is married to Kailoni, and together they have seven awesome kids. Greg has too many hobbies, including kiteboarding, hiking and camping, shooting, Medieval swordfighting, snowboarding, miniature tabletop wargames, and writing both fiction and non-fiction.

 

 

Matt Boyd

Associate Pastor

Matt grew up at Grace Bible Chapel and was involved in the ministries of Grace from a young age. Matt is a graduate from Oak Hills Christian College and has an MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He and his wife Heather have 3 children. He enjoys playing all kinds of sports, board games, and any chance he can get to hang out and build relationships with people.



Amanda Honaker

Office Manager

Amanda has been in the Grand Rapids area since 2018 and has been serving in the office since January 2022.  She was born into a missionary family where she spent time in South America and California.  Upon graduating from highschool she went to Greenville University in Illinois where she graduated with a degree in recreational leadership.  Prior to coming to the area, Amanda, her husband and two kids were serving overseas for 10 years with MAF.  She enjoys playing sports, getting to know people one-on-one, and loves spending time with her family.       

 

Heather Lutterman  a.k.a. Miss Heather

Preschool Director

Heather loves to be around kids. This is evident as she serves daily in our preschool and also coordinates Cubbies for our AWANA program. Heather loves to take pictures when given the chance and also takes every opportunity to visit her nieces and nephews.

Brian Helmuth

Worship Coordinator

Brian has a passion for music that shows as he leads the music on Sunday mornings. He also coordinates the newly-formed youth band, which leads music for Illumin8 Wednesday evenings.
