Missions - Alan and Beth McManus, with Cameron and Dayton

 Alan and Beth McManus are educators and missionaries who minister in Mexico primarily by assisting other missionary families that home school their children. Throughout the course of a typical year, they provide some level of assistance to between 60 and 70 missionary kids (MKs). They tutor, give advice, administer the Stanford Achievement Test, plan and organize educational events, host educational specialists and created and maintain a growing library with about 8,000 items. They also participate and serve in their local Bible church (La Iglesia Biblica Vida Abundante or Abundant Life Bible Church) and are involved in friendship evangelism. Their local ministry team and church are in the beginning stage of developing an evangelistic community center. They’re seriously considering taking a leading role in an ESL (English as a Second Language) program for this evangelistic project.
